Ministry Staff

Corky was born and raised in Texas before attending the University of Florida in 1978. Prior to ministry, Corky worked in professional sports as an athletic trainer before founding and becoming co-owner of South Brevard Physical Therapy in Melbourne. After 15 years of successful business ownership, Corky and his family answered the call into full-time ministry where he graduated from Emory University in 2001. He served a number of Melbourne churches before being appointed as Senior Pastor of Georgianna Church in June of 2004. He has a great deal of experience in the areas of leadership and church growth and is a sought-out speaker in these areas.

Corky serves as a volunteer chaplain with the Brevard County Sheriff’s Office and is active in support of Brevard County Schools. Corky is a certified Phi Theta Kappa Leadership coach. He is a Presiding Elder in the Florida Global Methodist Church. Corky believes in the ministry of presence and can be frequently seen about our community as he serves with both his time and resources.

Corky is married to Deedie Calhoun, a recently retired forty-year educator in both public schools and the private sector. They are blessed with two adult children; Chris, who is married to his beautiful wife Sabrina, and live in Jacksonville and are expecting their first child in March 2026. Kyle, a Patent Attorney for Kirkland-Ellis in San Francisco, but resides in Atlanta with his precious wife Ashley, who have blessed their parents with their first grandson, Isaac (3). As a family they are die-hard Gator fans and Corky and Deedie can be found enjoying the empty nest years with travel and attending sporting events. They feel blessed to serve the Georgianna family and this wonderful community here in Brevard County.

Mona is a Florida native.  Having grown up on Merritt Island she attended Audubon Elementary, Edgewood Jr. High and Merritt Island High School. She graduated from Auburn University in 1980 and married her husband Don in 1983.  Mona and Don have three children, Jackie, Jay and Julie, a daughter-in-law, Rachel, a son-in-law, Robby, and eight adorable grandchildren.
 
Mona started in April of 2001 as an Administrative Assistant, the veteran of the Georgianna Staff. She loves to read, work out and spend time with her family and friends and grandchildren.

Stacey grew up in Melbourne and attended Eau Gallie High School. In 1994 she graduated with her B.S. in Accounting from Rollins College. Stacey and her husband Jerry have been happily married since 1992. They are blessed with a wonderful daughter, Lauren and a son-in-law, Luke.
 
Stacey has been the Financial Administrator since 2012. She loves to read, travel and spend time with her family. She’s also a big Atlanta Braves fan.

Janice grew up in Indianapolis, Indiana, where she married her high school sweetheart, Steve, in 1983.  She received her B.S. degree in Marketing from Indiana University in 1984.  Janice and Steve moved to Brevard County in 1993 and have attended Georgianna since 2005.
 
Through the years, Janice has served in various ministries including youth ministry, children's ministry and Stephen Ministry.  She has also served as a volunteer counselor, support group leader and abstinence education trainer through a local crisis pregnancy center.
 
Janice and Steve are blessed with two wonderful children, Kimberly and Samuel; son-in-law Denson; and 5 precious granddaughters, Annabelle, Caroline, Amelia, Luci and Naomi.

Kelly is a native Floridian raised in Rockledge, graduated from Rockledge High School and then attended Brevard Community College where she received her A.S. degree. Kelly married her husband Rich in 1992 and they are blessed with 3 wonderful children Megan, Morgan, and Mathew, a daughter-in-law, Lauren, and son-in-law, Mike. Kelly also has a beautiful granddaughter, Brooke.

Kelly has been a member of Georgianna since 2007 and has been on staff with the Children's Ministry since 2010.  She has volunteered in our local schools for the past 11 years in the classrooms as well as with parent organizations.  With Kelly's love of the Lord combined with her tremendous creativity, Children's Ministry continues to blossom every day!

Jessica grew up in Brevard County and graduated from Cocoa Beach Jr/Sr High School. She attended the University of Florida where she received her Bachelors and Masters Degree in Elementary Education. 
 
Jessica married her high school sweetheart, Zachary, in 2015. They are blessed with twins, Jacob and Zoey. Jessica has taught in Brevard County for 10 years.  They have attended Georgianna since 2021. Jessica enjoys hanging out with family, reading, and going to the beach.

Jason grew up in Brevard County, graduating from Melbourne High. He played baseball at UCF and later in the Yankees, A’s and Blue Jays organizations. Jason was a teacher and baseball coach at both the high school and college levels for 15 years while also serving as a missionary and coach for the Fellowship of Christian Athletes.
 
Jason and his family have attended Georgianna since 2014. He is married to Jennifer who is also a native of Brevard County and graduate of Merritt Island High. They have 3 children - Sydney, Grant, and Rhett. Jason is also the head baseball coach at Merritt Island High School.

Krista was born and raised in Brevard County, graduating from Satellite High School. She attended Florida Gulf Coast University where she obtained a degree in Communication and Education in 2019.
 
Krista spent three years in Austin, Texas, before returning to Melbourne where her family lives and began attending Georgianna in 2023. She is involved in both youth and children’s ministry, and also serves with Space Coast Young Life. In addition to her position as a Youth Ministry Assistant, Krista works in cybersecurity sales as a Sales Engineer.
 
Krista loves to hike, read, run, go to the beach, and drink good coffee.

Chris has been a member of the Georgianna staff since 2005. She first served the church as the Children’s Pastor. Her love of others and her heart for service made the move to missions ministry an easy one.
 
Chris was born in Huntington, NY, but was raised in Peachtree City, GA. She attended college at the University of South Alabama and received her B.S. in Speech and Hearing Sciences in 1991. Chris worked for the Department of Defense Schools overseas and stateside.
 
She is married to Luis Rodriguez and they have three children, Vann Patrick, Anna and Winn. Their family is blessed with 2 grandchildren, Maisie and Briggs! When she isn’t traveling, Chris enjoys nature, cooking and being with family and friends.

Tamara Timmons was raised as a ‘missionary kid’ in Zambia, Africa, for the first 14 years of her life. She moved back to Canada for high school and college before missions brought her to Merritt Island, Florida. She worked with Teen Missions International for 5 years, which is where she met her husband Tyler.
 
Donovan, Eden and Zander joined the family and the whole family joined Georgianna in 2020. They love the opportunities to serve their church and their community!
 
Tamara enjoys spending time with friends and camping with her family. She loves a story well told, whether in the form of a book, movie or play.

Elijah who was born and raised in Orlando Florida has a passion for leading others in worship and creating spaces where people can encounter God in a meaningful way. He earned his degree in Worship Leadership from Belmont University in 2020 and has been serving in ministry since 2016. Before stepping into ministry, Elijah served in the U.S. Army, beginning his service in 2013.
 
Beyond his love for worship, Elijah enjoys spending time with his wife Naomi, whom he married in 2010, and their family, Lucas and Abigail. Whether it’s a game night at home or an outdoor adventure, family time is a priority in his life. He’s also a big fan of baseball, an avid comic book reader, and loves training in kickboxing and Jiu Jitsu.
 
Elijah’s life verse is Psalm 51, a passage that reflects his desire to seek the Lord’s heart. David’s prayer of repentance and renewal resonates deeply with him, serving as a constant reminder of God’s grace, mercy, and the call to worship with a pure heart.
 
Above all, Elijah’s heart is to see people grow in their faith and experience the joy of worship. He is honored to serve and looks forward to worshiping alongside you!

Kaitlyn was born in Grand Blanc, Michigan, and moved to Merritt Island, Florida, in 2015. She is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Worship Music Studies through Liberty University Online. Kaitlyn has attended Georgianna Church since 2022 and has been serving on the worship team, in both youth ministry and Sunday morning services, since she was 15 years old.

Kaitlyn has a heart for worship and loves creating meaningful moments where people can encounter God. Outside of church, she enjoys adventurous activities, playing music with friends, and building authentic connections with those around her.

Her life verses, 2 Corinthians 4:7–9, serves as a reminder that God can use every broken piece of her story for His glory. Kaitlyn is honored to serve alongside the worship team and is grateful for the opportunity to grow and worship with the Georgianna family.

Jen grew up in Northern Virginia and moved to Florida in 2010 after graduating from West Virginia University with a B.S. in Forensic Science. She spent the next decade working in forensic science and crime scene investigations.

In 2011, Jen met her husband, Mike, and together they were invited to “check out” Georgianna. They have been part of the Georgianna family ever since, serving in various ministries. Jen and Mike were married at Georgianna in May 2015 and are proud girl-parents to Cassandra, Gabriella, and Brookelynn.
