Born and raised on Merritt Island, Zack grew up in Georgianna. For six years his father, Charles Parker, was the pastor. After graduating from Merritt Island High School in 2008, he attended Florida State University receiving an English degree in 2012. 

Zack embraced his call to ministry on March 7, 2012 and began the preparation to fulfill his desire to be in the military as well as honor the call in ministry. He moved to Lynchburg, Virginia and attended seminary at Liberty University, graduating with a Masters of Divinity in 2016. After a year and a half in the enlisted reserves, he was commissioned into the Navy Chaplain Candidate Program and is now in the season of gaining professional ministry experience in order to become an active duty Navy Chaplain.
