Devotion to prayer is a key element in the life of the people of God and Georgianna is committed to being a “Praying Church”.  Prayer brings us into the presence of the Almighty God, connects us to our Heavenly Father and provides opportunities for us to communicate with a living and personal God.

Georgianna’s Prayer Ministry

• Lifts up the weekly prayer requests from each service.
• Gathers to pray prior to special events.
• Offers ongoing prayers for our church, community and the world.

These opportunities allow us to pray for all of the situations in our lives, knowing that our prayers will accomplish much as we rely on God.  Lifting up our prayer requests also provides opportunities for us to support one another in community and live out our faith together as the Body of Christ.

James 5:16 tells us that the prayer of a righteous man is powerful and effective.  Our Prayer Ministry allows us to experience the power of prayer and to give glory to God for the answers to our prayers.
