A Place to Belong – A Place to Become

Christ’s church is not a building but a body of people.  Our physical bodies have many parts and each part has a purpose and role; so it is with the body of people who make up Georgianna. It takes all of us doing our part, working together, to maintain our facilities and provide ministries that will provide a beacon of light, the light and love of Christ, into our community and the world.

Jesus tells us in Matthew 20:28 that “He did not come to be served but to serve and give His life away for many”.  We also are called to serve.  The Twelve Tribes of Georgianna were modeled after the Twelve Tribes of Israel.  Twelve major areas were selected that are needed to care for our congregation, care for our facilities and carry out our ministries.  Each area requires a servant’s heart and a commitment of time.  It is a place to belong and a place to become; being intentional about serving and touching the lives of others.
